Joan Collaso is an Emmy Award-winning international jazz vocalist. Her musical resume spans numerous festivals and arenas in Chicagoland, as well as the Netherlands, with additional stops in Japan, Russia, and Italy. She has graced the stage, supporting icons such as Al Jarreau, George Duke, Jeffrey Osborne, Jennifer Hudson, the incomparable Stevie Wonder, and the legendary Aretha Franklin. 
Her unique life’s journey and creative experiences have blessed her with a sultry voice and elegant style that draw audiences across generations and cultures. Her music speaks to the heart and moves the soul…. Speaking of Soul, her remarkable voice was featured in the 1997 movie "Soul Food," as well as in numerous TV and radio commercials. 
Music is not just her career and her passion; it is her PURPOSE. When not performing, Joan is teaching and leading the next generation of performers through her organization “TIMELESS GIFT,” where she is the founder and executive director. Their mission is to ensure and enhance our rich cultural and musical legacy. Timeless Gifts offers instruction, exposure, and professional performance opportunities for young, aspiring artists, promoting self-confidence, creativity, character, and professional etiquette in the presentation of their chosen crafts.
