“I have admired Nancy Wilson since I was a young girl at home sitting with my Father as we listened intently to her records.” “Queen” Nancy Wilson is one of the classiest, most beautiful Jazz vocalists of all time. Her beauty, unforgettable voice, and musical presence, has set her apart and distinguishes her as a true Diva. With a star on Hollywood’s walk of fame and 3 Grammy awards so far, Ms Wilson is still going strong!

“I fell in love with Shirley Horn the first time I heard her sing “Here’s to Life.” I listened to that CD almost daily for a year…and then it happened! I saw her live at the North Sea Jazz Festival…I will love her forever!” “Queen” Shirley Horn is remembered for her incredibly sensitive vocals. Her use of time and space in the context of a song was her trademark. She played exquisite piano and accompanied herself like non other. Her timing and vocal style was impeccable. She will always be remembered as the consummate Jazz artist!

“I also love Ms Horne. I appreciated her strength of character and I love her voice. Her professional integrity inspires me to be more than just a better artist, but a better person all together.” Queen” Lena Horne was a trailblazer for African American women in the arts. She was a beautiful, sophisticated, gifted woman who could have easily made it really big and never looked back. But she was a special kind of person, one who cared about others, and about the future of her people. So she fought as a civil rights advocate while being beautiful, and making movies, and singing to star studded audiences. Her star still shines bright, even though she is no longer with us!
